Besides beekeeping Will enjoys turning wooden bowls from local reclaimed wood given to him by friends and neighbors. It's a great way to reuse tree limbs and stumps that have fallen or been removed.
The nine to the right are all made of Walnut from Sierra Orchards in Winters, CA.
Below (left) are some smaller bowls made from a Live Oak which had to be trimmed at our friends' house in Marin.
Below (right) are bowls made from Madrone from a friend in Philo, CA.
